Rock Springs Cafe

Rock Springs Cafe is located on the I-17, in Black Canyon City. Their pies are to die for!!!!!!!!! So is their organic coffee. Yummy! So if you're ever heading up or down past there, stop and get some pie. They also have a diner inside hat I hear is also fantastic.

The Orpheum Theatre

Just around the corner from City Hall is the Orpheum Theatre.
The theatre was completed in 1929 and recently has gone under
nearly $14M in renovations. The theatre is spectacular inside and
out.

Tres Rios Festival

March 6 and 7 was the annual Tres Rios Festival in Goodyear, AZ. Unfortunately Sunday (the day I was there to volunteer for my office) was a rainy, windy, crappy day. I still got a few good photos, like this handsome Harris Hawk.

Blooming Pear Tree

Along the east side of the County Admin building are several Pear trees. This February they were in bloom.
They smelled lovely, but lasted less than 10 days blooming.

Fourth Avenue Jail

Actually, this is the 3rd Avenue side. It's really a nice jail. I'm glad I will never have to spend time in there!!
4th Avenue Jail opened in 2004 and been constantly busy.

Parked next to the Madison Street Jail sally-port.
The black and gold is much nicer than the dirty-white and gold.
